This week our second-year midwifery students have been involved in a series of home and water birth scenarios putting their knowledge and skills to practise in our simulated hospital wards and home simulation suite at InterCity Place.   Clinical skills sessions like these allow students to practise and build upon skills in a safe environment at their own speed, being able to watch and get involved in hands-on demonstrations, ask questions and discuss and reflect on placement experiences with their peers.
